New Tabernacle Coming Soon!

The Ark of the Covenant

The taberpacle is the place where the Lord remains with us in the Eucharist, His true, real, and abiding presence. Our new tabernacle will draw its inspiration from the Ark of the Covenant in the Old Testament, which held the presence of God among, His people. Just as the Ark was placed within the meeting tent, where God would dwell among Israel, so too our church is designed to echo that same reality. The ceiling evokes the tent desçribed in the Book of Exodus, reminding us that God desires to dwell in the midst of His people. In the Eucharist, this is fulfilled in a profounp way: God is not only near, but truly present among us.

Due to terrorist violence, more than 6,000 schools have been forced to close, leaving over 1 million children without access to education. More than 2 million people have been displaced, and many families are suffering from severe famine and instability.

Funds collected through this appeal will help support Catholic education, provide clean water to villages, rebuild churches destroyed by violence, and feed and shelter displaced families.

Thank you for your prayerful support of the universal mission of the Church.

fr. Paul Karenga
